Giving his all ...thank You, McCoy tyner!
mr mccoy damn were sure glad you were here with us sob
Just saw first time. Been following McCoy live and on record since late 60's. Yeah sound quality sucks on this one, and yeah his health had deteriorated by this time and his playing along with it. But it mattered less than one might think because of the enormous spiritual significance of McCoy as an artist and a man which never diminished actually to the contrary might have even increased even if he wasn't at his peak as a player. And, for what it's worth Chris Potter's
playing is awesome and audible. McCoy is one of, if not THE greatest musical/spiritual figures of modern jazz nothing can ever change that.
感謝演算法讓我看到McCoy來臺灣的表演

no one hit the keys like mac coy
Your syntax is making audiences turn away.
...it´s just you
If it makes you feel better ;)
The sound is not great on this video. Chris plays his axx off, and has a wonderful tone. I play tenor too. He has all the gigs I want!!! :)
Jeffrey Newton Chris Porter hoy es el mejor tenor de los últimos 20' años.continúa mejor la línea de M.Beckett.
is it me or is he getting a little old? His playing seems to be a little sloppy
No one seems to listen anymore. The musicians are playing for themselves; or, have you ever seen so many monitor boxes in front of the John Coltrane Quartet, back then, in the early 1960's? Although Mr. Potter is playing very loudly, it's only a shadow of his master's sound.
This kind of jazz is making audiences turn away, disregarding the few who are applauding. Sorry.
